Long Distance Transactions

Because Summit County is a resort market, many of our transactions take place with buyers or sellers that are across the country or even across the world.  Although it may seem that it would be difficult to buy or sell a property when you live so far away, thanks to technology, it is surprisingly easy!
With access to the internet you will be able to review contracts and sign electronically.  It is no longer necessary to print out a document, sign it and find a fax machine to send it back.  A few clicks of the mouse can place your electronic signature on the bottom of a contract and return it to us instantly.  Inspections can be ordered on your behalf with a detailed inspection report complete with photos of any issues e-mailed to you after the inspection.  We keep a complete resource list on hand with local inspectors, plumbers, carpenters, carpet companies and more and we are happy to make arrangements for repairs as necessary. 
Closing on the property can even take place without buyer or seller being present.  Closing documents can be sent overnight mail for signatures and notarizing, funds can be wired and keys held for you or accessible via lock box at the property.
